River & Rail Cafe is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, customer service oriented barista to join our team. We would like to hire individuals who have worked with the public, and who are committed to providing quality service. Must be able to uphold a high standard in a high volume setting and remain calm and kind under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Food service experience and knowledge of specialty coffee drinks is preferred.

Required shifts are between Tuesday through Sunday within the hours of 7:45am-4:00pm

Additional job details/what the position entails:

-Barista work experience is required, knowledge of how to make most common espresso drinks such as cappuccino, latte, etc. must be able to do basic latte art.

-Upholding a high standard for quality in drinks prepared

-Using a cash register/POS system

-Managing and preparing multiple orders at a time (call-in orders, to-go orders, and serving tables)

-Serving and bussing tables

-Maintaining a clean and tidy environment both behind the counter and on the floor
